Lovely location and a home away from home

A great location for beautiful walks to the Lily Ponds, Stackpole Estate and two of the most stunning beaches - Barafundle & Broad Haven. The home is well equipped. It was a nice touch to have Welsh cakes & a pint of milk waiting on arrival after our long journey. Although there was a slight autumnal feel in the mornings and evenings, we did not need any additional heating to the 2 bathroom radiators which warmed the home nicely. The upstairs bathroom is a good size with a great shower. Plenty of towels provided for our whole party. There is a pub 2 minutes up the road which does delicious Sunday roasts. We had a great stay and would happily have stayed longer.

Chestnut Cottage is one of the best equipped holiday properties we have ever used especially the kitchen equipment and facilities. The cottage is comfortable in all areas, and was very clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for our party of 5 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. Its location is superb, with access to two of the best beaches in the world and wonderful countryside and castles. The younger adults in our party also enjoyed the water sports offered from Stackpole Quay. As National Trust members we enjoyed free parking for most of the week too! I would recommend Chestnut Cottage to anyone wanting a Welsh seaside holiday with a bit of comfort.
