The Barn Trefin Reviews

Lynn
Wonderful accommodation we loved it. The view from the hut is beautiful and plenty of wildlife to watch especially the kites and buzzards flying around. After a long walk sitting in the hot tub was so relaxing, so peaceful. We found everything we needed was provided, and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely return.
Hilary
A lovely cottage in a great location . Spotlessly clean and well equipped . Would definitely recommend.
Chris
This is a lovely, spacious converted barn. Comfy bed, spacious lounge, separate dinning area and nice size well equipped kitchen. It's a lovely place to start walks either south along the coastal path to Porthgain, or north towards Abercastle. Trefin beach is about 10 minutes walk and although it's stony it's a nice place to swim at mid to high tide. Some great places to visit nearby - Fishguard, St Davids, Abereiddy Beach and the Blue Lagoon. The boat trip with Falcon Boats around Ramsey Island was a highlight seeing seals, porpoises and lots of birds including a Perigrine Falcon. This is a great quiet spot to escape to that we would definitely recommend.
Rodney
This was a very pleasant quite location, ideal for my our dog who enjoyed the very large field. The local pubs were very good, with friendly people. I would recommend this cottage.
Pam
Enjoyed my stay at the barn. Excellant location for coastal walks. The barn was very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. Hosts were brilliant immediately sorting a power outage problem created by myself, providing a welcome pack and local information. Dog friendly too.
Corinne
A lovely property in a good location. Itâ??s well equipped and clean.
David
We stayed in the "Barn" vary nice and spacious and set in a fantastic location.
Stephen
Quiet cottage, which has steps going into and in the cottage itself, which shouldnâ??t be a problem for able bodied people. Very peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. Under floor heating kept things warm and cosy, when thermostats were turned up, as directed in the information folder. We found everything comfortable and in good order. Will definitely consider booking again.
John
Great property and welcome pack. Poor heating, so take warm day and night clothes if the weather is not hot.
Kate
The location is perfect and the cottage was v comfortable. It was great to be able to speak to the owners direct with any queries. We had a wonderful few days.
David
A great location for walking the coastal path and several buses a day passing the property. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation.
Ann
Great location lovely cottage. Ideal for walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path.
Stephen
Great well equipped comfortable place to stay with loads of space for two, good quiet location, nice village pub nearby great coast path walking and friendly but non intrusive hosts Ian and Claire.
Rosalind
Lovely cottage in an area good for walking. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of space downstairs, there are a few floor level changes with deep steps. The bedroom is on the mezzanine and accessed by a spiral staircase which is open on to the bedroom. The bed was too soft for us and the shower arrangement is not good. The TV is apps only but is all logged in so you donâ??t need your own accounts. Outside there is a lovely grassy area. Nothing is fenced so you need to have the dog on a lead if it is a flight risk! Would recommend if the upstairs issues were addressed.
Robert
Tastefully decorated & very spacious for 2. The recliners added some luxury & comfort for watching the tv in the evening. The field outside was ideal for the dog to run around in. We hope to visit again.
Meirion
Outstanding little cottage, super clean. Lovely welcome package from owners. We booked a charging point for our electric car ( on site) which was perfect. Would highly recommend.
Will
The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. In early spring it was nice and warm too!
William
Excellent location for walkers and families in the summer but requires comprehensive refurbishment in order to provide the level of comfort and convenience expected by a holidaymaker.
James
We found The Barn a delight, especially being so near the Coast Path and only about 15 minutes walk from the Pub. It is really spacious, warm and dry with the underfloor heating, and well kitted out. Out in the field at the front you get a fabulous night sky, and even the sweep of Strumble Head light. A lovely place for a restorative holiday on the coast.
Ella
Beautiful stay! Amazing location by the sea! I thought the little welcome package was a lovely touch. So happy you guys were dog friendly also! Thank you again!
