Glyn Y Mor is an old cottage in Aberporth, Ceredigion on the west coast of Wales. This upside-down property sits just a 3-minute walk from the main sandy cove beach. The first-floor living space occupies the upper floor while bedrooms occupy the ground floor.

Cardigan Bay stretches out before you. Walk straight from the door into nearby woods and up to a waterfall. The Heritage coastal path runs close by where you can spot rare sea birds, bottlenose dolphins and grey seals. New Quay harbour resort sits nearby with cafés and restaurants.

The cottage sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms: two doubles and one twin. Two bathrooms serve the property - one family bathroom with shower over bath and WC, plus a second with shower and WC. The kitchen comes well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A wood burner warms the lounge which features a TV and DVD player.

Cardigan (6 miles, 15 minutes) offers shops and historic attractions. New Quay (8 miles, 20 minutes) provides boat trips and coastal walks. The Welsh Wildlife Centre (12 miles, 25 minutes) showcases local nature. Cilgerran Castle (9 miles, 20 minutes) stands as a medieval fortress worth exploring.

Families and walkers alike will enjoy the beach access and coastal scenery. The patio and courtyard garden make a spot for dining outdoors, just a short stroll from the sandy cove beach.
